The hotel has a great location in downtown Izmir, close to popular cafes and only about a minute's walk from the waterfront. The rooms have a wonderful view of the city, but I had a not-so-great experience with the nasty smoking room. The service was quite disappointing, as the staff's limited English made it hard to get help. Overall, it was okay in terms of value for money, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms

The room I had was supposed to be a double bed, and it had a great view of the city, which was a nice touch. However, the smoking room situation was disgusting.

The service left much to be desired. The restaurant was very bad, and the staff weren't particularly helpful due to their limited English, which made things complicated.

The service from the staff was generally friendly and professional, but the dining experience left a bit to be desired, especially during peak dinner times. Overall, it's a good value for money, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is fantastic, being so close to the Izmir bazaar and main square, making it easy to explore. The rooms were decent but a bit cramped with old furnishings, not entirely ideal for relaxation. The service was quite disappointing as the staff seemed rude and unhelpful. On a positive note, the breakfast had a good selection of Turkish options, though it could have been nicer overall.

Rooms

The rooms were small with two twin beds, making it a bit of a squeeze to walk between the bed and the desk. The flat screen TV was also outdated.

The hotel is located right in the city center, which is super convenient but it does get a bit noisy at night. My room was moderately sized and thankfully didn't have any smoky smells, and the staff was very professional and welcoming. On the downside, the drink service ends quite early in the evening, which was a bummer. Overall, it's a decent place with good value for the price.
